Official Rules - Canyon Ranch Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. To enter, complete an official entry form, which is displayed on the main page at: http://www.self.com/promo/centrum. You will be asked to provide your first and last name, mailing address, email address, and age. You will also be asked to answer one essay question, however, it does not need to be answered in order to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. You have the option of not taking the quiz and entering by mailing in an entry on a 3X5 card with your first and last name, mailing address, and age to the following address: Centrum Sweepstakes Winner List, c/o CondéNet, 4 Times Square, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10036.

2. The Sweepstakes begins Febuary 1, 2002 at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends April 12, 2002 at 11:59 p.m. ET. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 12, 2002. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

3. No responsibility is assumed by CondéNet or Whitehall Robins' for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, postage-due, or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Online entries will be declared by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of Whitehall Robins and will not be returned or acknowledged. Whitehall Robins may use any submitted information, including email addresses, for advertising and/or promotional purposes, unless instructed otherwise by entrant. Winner may be requested to provide CondéNet or Whitehall Robins with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

4. One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about April 30, 2002. Winner will be notified by email or mail. If winner is unreachable after 72 hours, or if winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner may be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received. Winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and winner and travel companion a Publicity/Liability release within 14 days of attempted notification or an alternative winner may be selected. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. There will be one (1) Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive: Two (2) roundtrip coach tickets to either Boston, MA or Phoenix, AZ from the major commercial airport nearest the winner's home. The following blackout dates apply at a minimum: Thanksgiving weekend, December 11 - January 12, Last week in March, Easter, February 8-16; Spring Break, President's Day weekend, and July 1 - August 31. Prize includes two (2) night/three (3) day double-occupancy room for two at the Canyon Ranch Berkshires, MA or Canyon Ranch Arizona. Subject to space availability. Final hotel confirmation will not be given until 2 weeks prior to travel. Ground transportation NOT included and all other meals and expenses outside of the spa package NOT included. The trip is valid for one year from date of sweepstakes drawing. Travel arrangements must be made one month before departure. Approximate retail value of $4,800, depending on actual itinerary.

6. This sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Void outside of the fifty United States, in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited. Employees of CondéNet and Whitehall Robins and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

7. Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final on all matters pertaining to Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All income and other taxes if any, fees, and surcharges on prize are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. An IRS form 1099 will be issued.

8. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Whitehall Robins to use winner's name and likeness for advertising, editorial and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. CondéNet and Whitehall Robins will protect the privacy of entrants by not selling their information to any other sources. By entering, participants release and hold harmless CondéNet and Whitehall Robins from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or prize won. Restrictions, conditions, blackout dates, and limitations apply. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Prize may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash except at CondéNet or Whitehall Robins' discretion.

9. CondéNet and Whitehall Robins reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or web site; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CONDENET RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. CondéNet and Whitehall Robins are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. CondéNet and Whitehall Robins assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or alteration of, entries. CondéNet and Whitehall Robins are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of CondéNet which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, CondéNet and Whitehall Robins reserve the right at the their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

11. The Centrum Canyon Ranch Sweepstakes Winner: The name of the winner may be obtained after April 30, 2002 by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Centrum Sweepstakes Winner List, c/o CondéNet, 4 Times Square, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10036.
